I can feel the visceral relief that happens as the realization sinks in… “I don’t have to figure this all out myself.”

I get asked this question a lot… “How do I create a great tagline for my business?”
In this week’s training video, I share some important things to think about, and some unimportant things, too…
You see, a tagline isn’t necessarily what you think. This 3-minute video will explain what I mean. Watch it now:

(I hope this gives you some ease and a little chuckle, especially if you’re someone like me who’s often reinventing yourself!)
The video addresses what’s most important, but for now I want you to remember to focus on what matters most. If your biggest goal is to get more clients, then that is networking, working your relationships (stay-in-touch marketing), and speaking.
If you’re ready to leverage, it’s creating your systems and building your team.
Your tagline serves a purpose, for sure. But it is the combination of your actions, consistency, decisions and service that make your business soar.

This week’s (super simple do-it-today) strategy will increase your revenues…without fail…IF you work it.
When I was focused on filling my practice (back in my early days) this is the strategy I used consistently.
(And if you know anything about me, you know that being innately disciplined is not necessarily a natural strength!) So, you can do this too. 😉

I used that one simple tactic consistently, thanks to my friend Ruth. And I will be forever grateful to her.
If you can implement this strategy too, you’ll have new clients before you know it, whether you’ve been in business for 12 years or are just starting out.
Here’s the thing about simple actions applied consistently:
They may not be sexy, at first, but they work. And when something works consistently, it feels really compelling.

But, it does show you where there might be room for improvement.
Honest self-reflection is the key to creating shifts that allow you to grow and evolve as a business owner. So is being prolific.
The bottom line is that the most prolific people are the most highly paid. They are constantly generating new marketing ideas, products and services to scale and grow their business, and that produces higher revenues.
To be highly prolific, you must be highly disciplined. And so:
Highly disciplined = Highly paid
But if you’re anything like most business owners I know, maybe you’re not naturally disciplined??
The question then becomes: how do you create more structure, accountability and discipline in your business?
Can you enroll your team in supporting you? An accountability partner who is also a business owner? Are you honoring yourself by sticking to the time blocking in your calendar? Getting direction, clarity, next steps and accountability by working with us?
It all works. You just have to commit to being more disciplined, productive and prolific.
This is a choice, followed by action.
You in?
Take a deep breath. Create your plan. Go forth and be more disciplined.

P.S. One of the things that I teach my kids to help them cultivate self-worth and self-esteem is to always do the right thing, even when no one’s watching, because their inner self is always watching. Same thing goes for how you “show up” in your business. Confidence comes when you consistently take personal responsibility and do the “right thing.”
I get incredible fulfillment in guiding already “successful” entrepreneurs to move out of 6-figure overwhelm and into 7-figure freedom.
The reason I put “successful” in quotes is because too often, business owners at the 6-figure level are working way too hard for too little.
They’re overwhelmed, can’t take vacations and often, can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Even though they’re doing good work with their clients, this certainly wasn’t what they imagined when they began their entrepreneurial journey. (Sure, the money is coming in, but at what cost?)

In case you think I don’t ever feel resistance or fear in my own business, I’ve got news for you.
I DO sometimes have fear around making radical changes, especially when it would allow my business to experience big leaps. (I’m human.)

This is where the giant leaps that transform your business happen.
So, what parts of your business do you currently believe can only be done by YOU?
Would you be willing to loosen your grip on this part of your business, in the name of your growth and the evolution of your business?

OK, here goes:
You may think you want things to change. But the question I have for you today is…
…do you really?
Do you have the audacity to be one of the few who actually becomes the person who achieves the goal or vision of your future self?
Change sounds great…
But in reality, change feels Un.Comfort.Able. And we are programmed to avoid it at all costs.
In this week’s video, I get super real with you about the ego, fear and what it looks like when your old reality meets your new paradigm. It’s not often pretty, but it’s crucial you know this. Watch it now:
When presented with an opportunity to experience change in our lives, our minds automatically go to the things we perceive we have to give up. We focus on the:
Costs over rewards
Losses versus gains
Excuses versus possibilities
And therefore, most people don’t experience change, even when they really, really want it.
“The more important the goal or vision is for your soul’s evolution, the more resistance you will encounter as you pursue it.”
And yes, damn. It sucks. I know, all too well.
I would rather you know this now, so you can use this to your advantage going forward.
Here’s the good news, though:
You can outwit your ego, by understanding that the resistance you are facing as you move toward the things that you want is a sign that you are on the right path.
Your ego is the most powerful opponent you will face in the pursuit of your business growth and personal evolution. Your ego would much rather you stick with the reality that you know (and don’t really want anymore) versus the future you want (but don’t know yet.)
And the biggest tool that the ego deploys to achieve its goal is fear. And the fear SEEMS real and scary.
This message to you today is a message from the other side of navigating my way again and again and again through the fear and false panic point I talk about in today’s training video.
If you want to achieve your potential, surpass your goals and leave your mark on this world, you simply must learn to do what it takes to be afraid and do it anyway.
There is gold on the other side for us bold hearts who are willing to bravely go through it, instead of looking for the “easy” and “painless” way.
Rewards beyond our wildest imaginings await.
