The last couple of weeks, we’ve been talking about aiming for MUCH bigger in our business, in our life, and in our purpose. We’ve stretched, looked into the fears of dreaming TOO big (is there such a thing?!) and looked at all the other emotions that come up once we’ve actually MADE the decision to play a bigger game. These are related to issues of safety, not rocking the boat, and self-doubt as to whether we really CAN play a bigger game in life and business. (more…)
Making the most of each moment! That’s what my theme for the summer has been, and the kids seem to be doing the same. I’d never heard of ‘Paper Plate Awards’ before this week, and it was fun to see specifically how my kids were being celebrated for their uniqueness, in fact I learned something new about both of them. My son received the “Singing Sensation” award for constantly singing “I like to move it, move it” and my daughter won “The Wonderball Woman” award, for winning every time she plays Wonderball. Who knew!? (Notice my little Oliver in the middle, wondering what’s going on. Too cute!)
The last stop on my national “Millionaire Entrepreneur Mindset Secrets Tour” was yesterday in Atlanta, and let me tell you, it was an absolutely amazing night, a HUGE success. People drove in from North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama and further, took the train from Washington, road tripped with friends and flew in from all corners of the country for it. And they all left with breakthroughs, the tools and inspiration to play a much bigger game in their business. THANK YOU Atlanta, for making me feel so welcomed, and mostly for making the commitment to step up your Mindset with me to make a meaningful difference in the world, and get handsomely rewarded for adding so much more value to your clients. And for those who made a commitment to no longer wake up in the morning to be mediocre, I can’t wait to see you at my Mindset Retreat in Miami this September! Woohooo!
The quote, “The opera ain’t over until the fat lady sings” originated with San Antonio sports broadcaster Dan Cook during a television newscast in April 1978. He coined the famous phrase after the first basketball game between the San Antonio Spurs and the Washington Bullets during the 1977-78 National Basketball Association playoffs, to illustrate that while the Spurs had won once, the series was not over yet. Last week was one absolutely incredible, heart-filling week! Two of my elite Sapphire private clients joined me for their private in-person retreats to multiply their already super-successful businesses. The week started with the awe-inspiring Heather Dominick, EnergyRich Coach, to get her prepared for a major life-changing (and income-multiplying) project she’s working on, one that will take her to past the million-dollar mark in less than 12 months. We talked business models and marketing, and of course the mindset necessary to make it all happen (it was so moving to see her step in to the next big version of herself.)
Then, superstar Sapphire client Karen Knowler spent the day with me. I cannot put words to what happened in my office at the white board. I’m a little emotional just thinking about how BIG we mapped out her business to be, and most importantly, the big WHY of taking her business so big. (Hint: it has nothing to do with the money, in fact, it has everything to do with a massive humanitarian project she’ll be starting.) The million-dollar-goal she came in with for this year (which she’ll likely reach very soon) seems pale in comparison to the plan we sent her back to the UK with (watch her do it.)
What I love most about these two women is their authentic ambition, their huge hearts, and their connection to Spirit. They’re both doing their work to be of service in a big way, and they realize that it takes courage, an understanding of universal principles and the right mindset shifts to making it happen. And they’ve said YES.
When I was first starting out trying to close the sale as an solo-entrepreneur, I would offer only one rate and the offer was basically “This is what I charge, take it or leave it.” So people would either take it or leave it.
Then I realized that clients work in a different way. Many people like options (I do too). They don’t want to be “forced” into taking something that doesn’t suit them. They want the option of small, medium or large. (more…)
Woohooo!! Celebrating one of the most productive (and hysterical!) Platinum Mastermind retreats ever. I’m soooo ridiculously proud of this group’s 6-figure and 7-figure income-breakthroughs since the last meeting! (more…)
So, I got an email this morning and then a call from one of my yummy Sapphire clients today.
She was shocked, a little dazed and kinda surprised.
She got her P&L statement from her accountant yesterday. (more…)
Following up on leads is 90% of the game, right? At least that’s what we hear. You spend all this time networking, marketing yourself, making cold calls, looking for the right client, but what’s the point of it all if you don’t follow up on the leads you DO have? This was a major obstacle for one of my clients this week and a shift was created when I shared the Low Hanging Fruit List with her. (more…)
Last weekend was possibly one of the best weekends of my life! Friday night started with a bang having our traditional Friday Night Pizza At The Beach with our friends and their children (the kids play on the large swing set or by the ocean, while we watch on, talking, sipping wine and chilling out watching the sun go down.) Saturday was a glorious day at the beach with the kids, before our good friends arrived from New York for the annual Clam Bake at the club. Imagine the dock filled with blue and white checkered tables, a Key West band going, having a rum punch by the water, followed by 3 pound lobsters, steamers, shrimp, New England clam chowder, and late evening fireworks over the water. It was heaven!
The next day, we had our annual 4th of July parade and potluck brunch at the beach, before heading out for a day at the pool with the children and our guests. We hosted a group of friends for an alfresco dinner at home, and repeated it all the next day. I was seriously blissed out the entire weekend! All I kept thinking to myself was, “Is it really possible for one person to take in so much abundance and love at the same time?” I guess the answer was, Yes. I am so grateful for my life, to get to serve from my heart in a big way and I am grateful for you too. I hope you had a great weekend too!
It’s amazing how each of the Platinum Masterminds we’ve started (we have 3 going on right now) are so different. This one is another brand new group, and already, they’re kicking it into high gear. One member went from making $15 an hour at her brilliance to now having made $23,000 in the last two months of being part of the Mastermind; another made $63,000 in June in her spiritual business, and is going to hit $1million mark in the next 12 months — and she’s not the only one in the group to be on track for that. Another is already $50,000 up from her entire last year’s income, and it’s only the beginning of July.
I could go on and on about their successes in just the last two months, but I’ll just say that it’s so fun for us to work with these folks! (And, we giggled way too much in this week’s meeting.) If you’re interested in finding out what concepts and resources they’re ALL implementing to multiply their businesses so quickly while having so much fun, you can find out about my Workshop-In-A-Box here.
